Our client currently requires an IT Support Specialist for their Calgary office. The successful candidate will have qualify with as many of the following points as possible.
  • Post-Secondary education in Computer Science or IT
  • Min 5-10 years of related experience
  • A+ Certification or equivilient experience
  • Current MCSE or equivilent experience
  • Experience with
    • VMware vSphere
    • Equalogic Storage Systems (ISCSI)
    • Power Conenct and Avaya Switches
    • Avaya IP Phone Systems
    • Microsoft Operating Systems
    • Microsoft Office Products
    • Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains)
    • SQL Server 2005/2008 and Oracle 10g
    • Exchange 2010, SCCM 2007 and MSCOM 2007 or previous verstions of SMS
    • Project or Portfolio Server 2007
    • Linux or Unix
    • Juniper/Netscreen appliances
    • MS Office Communication Server
    • MS RMS or ISA Server
    • .NET Programming
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills including conflict resolution
  • Strong ability to influence and deal effectively with people at all levels of an organization
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Proven ability to work under pressure with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to work in a team environment, as well as perform successfullly with limited supervision.
  • Strong problem solving decision making abilities
